A Bit About My Work
I didn’t arrive at this work through a single method.
It came from 35 years of working with horses that didn’t fit simple explanations, horses that stayed tight or imbalanced. Horses returned to the same problems or injuries even after rest or treatment.
Over time, I began focusing less on what should be happening, and more on what the horse was actually showing. Patterns started to become clear.
Many horses are not dealing with isolated issues. They are working within patterns of compensation that develop when the body doesn’t feel stable, movement isn’t well supported, or tension is held over time. These patterns often remain, even after injury has healed, which is why the same issues tend to return.
My background is built on hands-on work with horses in bodywork, rehabilitation, riding and training. Working closely with horses over time, not just in single sessions is what made these patterns consistent and recognizable.
I approach horses as individuals with systems trying to organize as best they can. That means looking at how the horse stands, how movement is distributed, where tension is held, and how the horse responds to pressure or restriction.
This work is not about quick fixes. It is about understanding the pattern behind what you’re seeing, because once the horses reasons for imbalance makes sense, the path forward becomes much clearer.
